Last fall Maisie, Jon & I packed up Bert, our beloved RV for a trip to Talimena drive during peak leaf week. We stayed at the Talimena state park and actually were surprised to see it extremely booked out! The best spots had been booked for months, so hopefully this year we will plan ahead. We drove out on an extremely foggy day which I don’t recommend if you’re a scaredy cat like me! Some turns were kind of scary and you had to go extremely slow, especially if you’re driving like Bert. But I would also looove to be able to take my convertible this year.
The most adventurous part of the whole thing was that our poor RV sprung a leak so we were out of water the whole weekend, until the very end we had plenty of rainwater coming through our roof. Needless to say, we went home a day early and still need to fix ol’ Bert up.
