We bought a house! –

Surprise!

Trust me, it’s a surprise to us to haha! We weren’t planning on buying a house for a few years, but our dream home basically fell into our lap by chance a month ago! We had just decided that in a couple years we would probably hire an architect to design a custom home, because we couldn’t find anything that we liked. Our tastes are pretty modern, and we’re both super picky and definitely wanted our own things! One day I found a plot of land that I liked, potentially overlooking the river which was a request of Jon’s so we decided to drive out to Jenks and look at it. We didn’t love the lot but really loved the area so we decided to drive around/look on Zillow and we found THE MOST PERFECT house I’ve ever seen. It’s in an incredible neighborhood overlooking a natural pond, two stories, huuuuge living room and everything is white and extremely modern! There’s lot’s of square windows, it’s super minimalistic and has gorgeous blonde floors. The previous owners also took pristine care of it which is such a blessing! They were the original builders in 1997 and it was a completely customizable home to them, but we really feel like it was made for us 🙂 We used Ashley and Shaun Elizondo here in Tulsa as our realtors and we are super thankful to them, because we had no idea what we were doing! We won’t have any furniture for awhile but we will definitely be enjoying all of this space! Here’s a few photos of the whole process:
